Job Title: Customer Service Advocate
Location: Broad Oak Farm Business Park, Whitchurch, SY13 3AQ
Position Type: Part-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM (including a 30-minute lunch break)
Weekly Hours: 16–20 hours per week

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Advocate to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their experiences with Mackenzie & George are exceptional. Your responsibilities will encompass addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing insightful product information, as well as managing and maintaining stock and inventory levels. This position offers flexible part-time hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking a balance between professional and personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via phone, email, and live chat to address questions, provide product information, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Order Management: Assist customers throughout the ordering process, from product selection to order placement, and provide updates on order status and delivery.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues, ensuring a satisfactory outcome and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, to ensure customer needs are met and service standards are upheld.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
- Stock Management: Box and package newly made stock, keep an accurate inventory record.
- Posting: Picking, packaging, and posting online orders for customers.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to handle challenging situations and find effective solutions.
• Interpersonal Skills: A friendly and empathetic demeanor with the ability to build rapport with customers. A self-starter full of initiative.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines within a part-time schedule.
