The classic fedora shape never goes out of style, and the wool felt makes it easy to clean and durable. Finished with a black oiled leather band.
Our hats work beautifully with our handcrafted feather brooches, and because they are on a brooch fastening you can choose when to wear with a feather and when to wear on its own, giving you the ultimate in versatility for town or country.
Many of our pieces are handmade to order in our Shropshire workshop.
In-stock items: usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. Made-to-order items: usually dispatched within 7–10 working days. Made-to-order bags: approximately 4 weeks, increasing to around 6 weeks during May–August and November–December.
Personalisation does not usually add to the lead time, but may occasionally add up to one working day.
Once dispatched, UK delivery usually takes 1–3 working days via tracked Royal Mail.
If you need your order by a particular date, please contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
We offer returns and exchanges within 90 days of receiving your order, provided items are unused, in their original condition and returned with any tags attached.
Personalised, bespoke and significantly altered items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange, although in exceptional circumstances we may offer store credit.
UK customers can use our free returns and exchanges service once per order. Further returns or exchanges are at the customer’s cost.
Items purchased at events and international orders can be exchanged, but return postage must be paid by the customer.
During busy periods, exchanges may take 2–3 weeks to process.

I love the little detail of the cartridge and the leather band.
You can adjust the sizing slightly by the ribbon band inside as one of the staff kindly advised me.
I did this on a very windy day last week and my hat was so secure to my head and did not move.
I bought this for myself when I’d actually gone to collect two birthday gifts for my partner.

It was a completely different colour to the photo, I’ve got a camel fedora from Hicks and Brown. I ordered this one as a gift as your business is very local to me. It took weeks to arrive and the colour… I was so disappointed with but as it took so long to come I wasn’t going to return and get another one! I won’t be using you guys again.

I'm so sorry you were disappointed with your order. I am assuming it is the feather that was a different colour? As these are all handmade they can vary depending on what feathers Wendy who makes them has available, and due to them all being natural even the same arrangements can vary in the tone of individual feathers. If you are local you are welcome to make an appointment to come to the workshop and select a feather of your choosing - we have an enormous range of feathers that we cant put all on the website. Alternatively we can send you some photos of the ones we have available, and send a free returns label to send yours back? And finally I apologise for the delay on the hats, whilst we did our upmost to keep you informed of the delay, we appreciate this was an unprecedented long time to wait and we have since engaged a new supplier to avoid these delays in the future. Let us know how you'd like to proceed with either of the above options, as we are keen to assist.
